The vent window was done using left over strips of styrene I used to fix the gutter rails. The glass is a bit of plastic from a takeaway container.
Mopar - D Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Awesome build Gareth! Those white walls gives it a sleeper look with the Hemi under the bonnet.
Ian McLaren Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Great looking model, very clean and well done, love the vent window.

I can't leave a basic kit well alone anymore, Lol. On 3/13/2022 at 3:50 PM, ewetwo said: Looks fantastic. Love the color. Thanks, David. It's called Pacific Green Metallic, a hair lighter than British Racing Green though it's barely noticeable.

doorsovdoon Posted March 15, 2022 Author Posted March 15, 2022 I decided to replace the whitewalls with some Goodyear GT Radials. They looked fine, but these look much more suited for a car with a Hemi!
ATHU Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Wow!! You did an amazing job with that kit Gareth. well done!!

mustang1989 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 This was definitely a fun build to watch come together Gareth. Nice additions throughout like the open trunk, scratchbuilt trunk flooring, vent window open and the open headlight doors. Terrific work.

The MPC Charger is always a fun build despite the fit issues it has. Fixing the ill fitting parts is part of the fun.. well, sometimes. Lol.
Dave Armstrong Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 '68-'69 Chargers are one of my favorite body styles, your build is really nice!

Thanks Dave. Yes, me too, I love the Chargers. This is my forth Charger build. I have a '71 build coming up that I'm looking forward to as I've never built one.
