Got the Future (original not the Revive stuff).  Took about 10 coats to get it to my liking. Will polish it after a few days of curing.

The dreaded foiling comes next after the polishing.  All the sub-assemblies are pretty much done but I'm re-evaluating my wheel choice.

Thanks for looking😄

That is looking great. Really nice shine. How long are you waiting between coats of the Future?

My process lately at least for applying the Future is a few light coats drying in front of my small space heater between coats then a couple heavier coats drying a few minutes in front of the heater to set then running a hair dryer over it for a couple minutes.   Lastly heavier wet coats drying with the heater and hair dryer until I'm satisfied with the gloss.  Process takes maybe a hour.

I find using the hair dryer levels it eliminating the orange peel for the most part.

Thanks Mike I remember this kit now has this kit been reissued ?

No it has not.   Wish they would tho.  It's really a nice model with great detail and the tubbed rear is cool.

I like the flashy purple you have going on. I just picked up a new Revell snappy kit from HL as I heard the body proportions had high reviews.

Thanks Bill, I loke the purple more than I thought I would,   The Snap kit you got is a really good and easy kit that builds  up nicely.

Here's the one I did

Never would have thought to use gold/black interior, but, dang that looks GOOD.

Alex

Thank you Alex.  I will post pictures in the "Under Glass" but I'm having trouble getting decent pics with my old Samsung S-8 plus phone.
