Finished this “slump buster” build today. About 3 days work but stretched over three weeks. This has to be the most detailed kit I have built to day and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Serring looking color. I do like it and the finish looks great. I enjoyed watching your bild and like how you detailed the engine and interior. The 1:1 was one of Ford's better ideas in my mind anyway.

Great finish Bill! I just came upon your WIP thread and followed it with great interest to your completed build here. This is a great kit and a good stepping stone to further detailing possibilities. I am interested in your use of Molotow chrome, as I was greatly impressed by your masking job. Did you apply it with the pen or otherwise, as I have found it best on small parts while longer lines haven’t been all that smooth overall. Did you consider going further with your masking and airbrushing? With the demise of BMF we are all searching for alternatives and you have provided a good illustration of your technique.

Looking forward to further builds, cheers Misha

Misha I'm old school, the masking while tedious was worth it in the end, Tamiya for the win on that product. I used the molotow heavy marker and smoothed the larger areas with a brush. the body and base colour for the interior were done with Tamiya rattle cans, i'm way to cheap to get an airbrush. The tape take patience, a lot of patience.

I will have to revisit this build at some point to finish the detailing of the scripting and the stars on the b pillar. Both are to be done by hand ?
