ea0863 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Looks awesome, although I'm stymied by the old guy figurine...is this a real person photoshopped into the photo, or an incredibly life-like figurine?
oldscool Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I'm thinking the same thing. 7 hours ago, ea0863 said: Looks awesome, although I'm stymied by the old guy figurine...is this a real person photoshopped into the photo, or an incredibly life-like figurine?

It's a figure: Preiser 45079 G Scale Pedestrians -- Man Reading Newspaper & Man Standing. They did an excellent job on these figures in the later years of production. greg 1

happy grumpy Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Always good to see an oldie in these crazy color it fits that era so well and a nice departure from the all shades of gray, white and black of today, although it seems that we see more colorful cars recently. At any rate, this is a beautiful chevy and like the others I was really not sure about the figure but gosh, I wish kit manufacturers would put some of these in their kits. great job on the paint job both on the kit and figures.
