This seems to be a popular build currently. Good luck. Mine is the issue from 2011 in orange. Seems the orange plastic had a hard time releasing from the dies on my kit and the sprue cuts were a bit harsh. I'll have a few repairs to make. Everything gets a coat of silver paint soon to seal the orange from bleeding.

Thanks guys. Mine is the orange plastic. I plan on painting it Createx Opaque Red over a base coat of Autoborne White Sealer. Hope that will keep it from bleeding. I've started on the engine, but it's very hot here in South Georgia and my work shed has no AC, so build time is going to be limited.

IMO wheels and tires look clunky and some fit issues with bumpers, front clip and roll pan. May have to save both sides of the hood for it to sit right after its painted.

Thanks.

With mine I followed everyone’s advice on putting the front sub frame in last and it worked good for me. The exhaust was also an issue but you may be able to gently bend it to fit.

Got a little done. Paint and clear, chassis and exhaust. I made the mistake of installing the rear axle before the exhaust, had to remove and replace. The exhaust is tricky, still not aligned correctly, but it will do.

Nice progress on this one. It looks like you got the orange plastic covered well enough.

Thanks David.

Probably going back in the box. Why are these AMT and Revell kits so hard to get the frame and body to fit together without breaking off a bunch of parts you just spent 2 weeks putting together. It's frustrating.

After cooling off a little I went back and did the best I could putting it back together, so I'm calling it done.  Heat index below 100 today so I was able to stay in the work shed.  Photos under glass. Thanks for looking.
