Procrastinating before a show.

Picked up a 29 roadster kit 6 months befor the show and wanted a "Cartoons Magazine" style build. Had other builds on the bench getting ready for HMCN show, so it went on the bottom of the pile. the night before the show, I started the build.

From 1700 Friday night to 0330 Saturday morning I got her done!! The only thing i had to finsh at the show was to glue the headlamp buckets and headers on. if you look close, you can see the glue for the lenses is still wet @ the show.

This is a 10hr build, and it shows! I dont recomend doing this. Still debating if I want to deconstuct it and and make it better or just put it on the shelf.

Few mods made; Sprint car Right rear tires & wheels cut and fitted to the stock 29 rear wheels. Brass shifter w/bondo shift knob shaped as a head(didnt have time to carve tiki head). dechromed except headlamp buckets and snorkel. Jewel tail lights.

Paint; Body Spanish Moss. Interior brown leather. Wheels sunset gold. Chassis maroon. Engine black.

I would leave it just the way it is. I like the overdone look of the rear tires and the shifter. Should you be thinking of another different style or look just get another kit and then display them together. This is a tuff looking little roadster.
