I saw this at a job site today. A buddy and I were trying to figure it out. I’m thinking GM circa 1970ish. He thinks it’s from a big Ford.

I would guess a 70-72 Chevelle SS minus cowl induction (no trap door)

Or possibly a '72 Heavy Chevy

1970, non-Cowl Induction; 1971-1972 Heavy Chevy and standard Super Sport.

There may or may not be structural differences between those years, but am not sure.

Thank you. I was thinking Chevelle, but I didn’t know ‘68/‘69 was separate from ‘70/‘72.

The Monte hood is different, however the trunk lid is shared with 68-72 chevelles and 70-72 skylarks.

Was that the 6- or 8-cylinder Henway? The 8-cylinder one likely weights more. ;)
