Ace-Garageguy Posted Thursday at 11:18 PM Posted Thursday at 11:18 PM (edited) See Celia sell seashells by the seashore, while simultaneously sowing sasquatch seeds, and sustaining semi-cyclical swings of her psilocybin-stressed psyche. Edited Thursday at 11:29 PM by Ace-Garageguy punctiliousness 1
LennyB Posted Thursday at 11:23 PM Posted Thursday at 11:23 PM Psyche stress is what made me who I am today but the more I explore my inner psyche the more lost I get and down I go in a mad spiral that circles ever lower and further down spinning to infinity until someone grabs that handle and pushes down with all their might and flushes the bowl, thanks, I feel better now.
Ace-Garageguy Posted Thursday at 11:25 PM Posted Thursday at 11:25 PM (edited) Now might be a good time to take a big psychological dump. Edited Thursday at 11:27 PM by Ace-Garageguy
Rodent Posted Thursday at 11:33 PM Posted Thursday at 11:33 PM Dump truck models are cool, like the AMT Autocar and the Cornbinder Paystar. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM Posted yesterday at 12:03 AM "Paystar" was the chick in HR who made sure the checks went to the right recipients at the end of the week. 1
slusher Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Week of cooler fall weather is coming next week for a few days.. 1
JollySipper Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Days seem to be getting shorter, too, which means it's close to my favorite time of year.........
89AKurt Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Year time to see your Fall colors. 🍂
Ace-Garageguy Posted yesterday at 11:12 AM Posted yesterday at 11:12 AM (edited) Colors can evoke emotions, like the electric blue of Wednesday's midday sky made me feel happy, but I find the golden-yellow light of clear fall afternoons kinda makes me sad. Edited yesterday at 11:14 AM by Ace-Garageguy punctiliousness 1
LennyB Posted yesterday at 11:21 AM Posted yesterday at 11:21 AM Sad is how I feel when I walk out the back door and see all the leaves that have fallen on the deck, mad is how I feel when the dogs track those leaves in the house.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) House cats that never go outside tend to get fat due to overeating from boredom and lack of exercise, while indoor-outdoor cats tend to maintain healthy weight and fitness, as do feral cats that have access to plenty of human-provided food. ChrisBcritter Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Undernourished runway models teeter on their high heels.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Heels and seamed stockings and tailored clothes on women used to make my life much more enjoyable before fashion changed to look like nobody cares what they look like.. 1
Tim W. SoCal Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Like I wanna be a rock star, like I think I'll go on American Idle and like sing a song and like be voted number one and then like I'll get a recording contract and like cut an album and like it'll hit number one and like a lot of people might like me.
Rodent Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Me don't think so Tim, so just keep giving CPR to LLVs. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) LLVs of the USPS are superior in many ways to what's come after, and every one could easily remain in service for a million miles or more (cost-effectively)...but that would have required somebody who had once turned a wrench or was a silverback engineer to be a part of the procurement (and maintenance-and-repair program management) process. Edited 11 hours ago by Ace-Garageguy 1
Rodent Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Process of dying is what is occurring to the LLV that normally delivers to my house, I can hear the rod knock and smell the unburned hydrocarbons from 100 feet away. (A colleague's son (early 30s) works on these, the Metris, and the RAM Poomasters. He is quite competent. His observations are that they are junking the LLVs because Jasper can no longer supply engines due to a lack of cores, fat postal employees destroy Metris seats, and Poomasters exhibit all the fun quirks that all Stellantis 3.6L vehicles have. Jury is out on the one Duckbill his area has, other than the window regulator has already broken.) Edited 10 hours ago by Rodent 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Away somewhere in the mysterious innards of that poor vehicle is an engine that's simple, robust, and capable of being rebuilt almost indefinitely, unlike most of the overly complex stuff that's hailed as "modern" and "advanced" today. 1
Rodent Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Today is 32 years from when GM last vomited out an Iron Duke, so I think the USPS currently owns way more of them than anyone in the universe.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) "Universe" is understood to be a pretty big place that's constantly expanding, and this of course is necessary to have room for all the ever-increasing stupidity. Edited 10 hours ago by Ace-Garageguy
89AKurt Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Stupidity has been studied to death, see Universe 25 which is ... um ... interesting.
NOBLNG Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Interesting it would be, especially if you retained all previous memories, to be reincarnated.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Reincarnated as a holy cow I would not choose to be; moo. 1
