I remember following the WIP on this one, it was fun watching it all come together.

The end result is stunning to say the least. The first word that comes to my mind when I see this car is "Voodoo".

Thank you David G. The name is cool. Do you mind if I use it for a display?

I'm flattered, consider it yours!

She’s a beauty! The wheel/tire combo with that paint is wicked. I’m not nuts about customs either, but the Revell Merc is certainly a kit I’d build again.

Great finish on the Merc! The color change paint and blacked out chrome gives it a sinister look!

Thank you Street Rod. When I first painted it I thought it might be outdated but it seems to work.

Hi Bruce!

Again, a world class buid, bravo!

And I beg to differ as to what you were telling a fellow forum visitor: You can't explain such a glass-smooth finish with "luck" (your term...). Just the reflection of the lakes pipes in the lower body, and the perfect gloss of the grille teeth tell me that there's paint mastery at work here... No surprise, really! I've seen your perfect paint jobs many times on this forum, so much that I can read the specs of your overhead lamp being perfectly reflected in your pics.

And that, Sir, is shine!

Ahhhh, perfect, into the mystic says KAH.   Besides the song reference, the car turned out wonderful.  The color and interior spot on and I assume black chrome was applied on the bumpers?  Great job.

Thank you sir. The bumpers and grill  are painted with tamiya spray can. I was going to clear them but I left them. They stayed that shiny.

After watching the WIP, it's no surprise this turned out so nice! Good to see it all buttoned up, though. This has the perfect cruising stance for a big ol' sled, a beautiful finish, and an unexpected twist under the hood. Well done.
