Here's my version of Monogram's 1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra. This was actually a pretty decent kit and was pretty fun to build. The paint is a custom mixture using Chroma Molten Metals Copper, Decoart Cherry Red, and Delta Black craft paints sprayed through an airbrush. The body was then taped off for the Decoart Extreme Sheen Obsidian/Delta Black mixed stripes. The clear is Krylon Short Cuts Gloss also sprayed through an airbrush, although that was an adventure that fortunately came out pretty good in the end after lots of wet-sanding and polishing.

The interior was sprayed in Apple Barrel Dark Granite Gray craft paint, them masked off to spray with Anita's Glossy Black craft paint for the two-tone. The engine, chassis, exhaust, and suspension parts were sprayed with Mission Aluminum, Anita's Glossy Black, and Green Stuff World Chrome. After assembly, the kit wheels just seemed too tiny, so I opted for the optional wheels and tires from the current Revell 1970 Pontiac Firebird kit. I wasn't sure on the chrome wheel look, so I sprayed on 3 coats of Tamiya Smoke TS-71 to knock down the shine. I really like how this one turned out. Thanks for looking!

Like all Mustangs except those 1970s Mustang IIs.

I saw this one today.  I built a kit of one the same color.

Great looking paint color and finish. I like the way you detailed the engine. The interior is a little difficult to see in the pictures but look good as well.
