I was hoping for a 1/25th scale.

It's a modified-reissue which is based upon the old Monogram 1970 Plymouth GTX, which explains the 1/24 scale.

I was hoping that the intake and carburetors from the 1971 GTX -the 1995 modified reissue- would've found their way into this reissue... But, at least we have Fireball to fill that void (the kit's parts are blobs).

I was hoping this re-issue would have a choice of the Rallye road wheels. I'm probably going to go back and correct a bunch of stuff about mine, starting with the wheels, maybe some white lettering on the tires, correct orange valve covers and that classic Mopar overspray on the undercarriage. I hope I still have those mirrors.

I was hoping for an all-new kit like the '71 442.  My buddy and I went to his younger brother's house a few days ago and saw his '70 Road Runner, which I hadn't seen in over twenty years.  After 3 blown engines, he's almost ready to put the latest and greatest engine in it. ?

I'm hoping that somewhere down the line Round-2 tackles this one, relying heavy on the underpinnings of the late 80s Ertl designed Plymouth B-bodies.

I noticed that the kit built on the box does not have Roadrunner decals on the front fender.  I wonder if there is a Warner Brothers license agreement issue.  Thanks for Keith Marks

Build video from Chris is up, the side stripe decals are better than the box top shows and better than in the previous orange car on the box release.

This time it comes with the Roadrunner on the decal not a blob , about time Revell !

Now if only they'd replace those blob carburetors while they're ridding the kit of blobs (haha)

Did '70 Road Runners have chrome around the side markers?

I'm currently working on this kit, as it does have some issues,  the most glaring is the space between the front bumper and the grille. To remedy this, drill holes just above the bumper mounting tab's holes, which will bring the bumper closer to the grille. This makes a big difference in the appearance of the front end.
