Zippi Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 (edited) Well....I finished it but was so frustrated with it that I didn't do much on detailing. I had warped parts, the windshield would not fit the opening, paint issues, etc. Just glad this one is done. espo Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 For all the problems you had on this it sure turned out great. I like the paint finish, and this looks good with your little Chevy II along for the ride.

cobraman Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 I think it turned out good. I like it. I have had a few of those glad it is finished kits myself.
1972coronet Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Looks quite nice, really. The companion '65 Chevy II plays nicely with the colour pallet of blue and red. Too bad about the windscreen fitment issues -- how did you mount it? Press-fit? Adhesive? Been wanting one of these, but I'm going to wait until the Q.C. issues are ironed out. Great build!

bobthehobbyguy Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Looks good. But it is a disappointment when there are so many problems. Curious does the windshield fit on the inside or outside. The outside on one of their other releases took some finessing to fit right.
XYHARRY Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Looks good Bob. I have the AMT Texaco tanker which was giving me so many fitment issues that I gave up and it sits half built in it's box. Your persistence paid off as your build presents well. Cheers, David. ??
happy grumpy Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 Looks pretty neat from here Bob, Bummer that the kit has warp parts, from what I here there is a lot of complaints about it, I hope that Moebius will do good on it. This should not have happened. Modern kits are held to a higher standard, I can understand for whatever reasons they had that problem, but this should have been picked up by their QC dept. I hope this will not be a reoccurring issue. At any rate, your model turned out really good.
PappyD340 Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 In spite of all the issues I think it turned out to be an excellent build, well done!!
NOBLNG Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 You managed to make a pretty good looking hauler out of it despite the fitment and warpage issues. Well done Bob! ?

The instruction make a note of tell you that the windshield is fitted from the inside of the cab.

Dutzie Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Seen lots of people with the same issues. Your build looks awesome despite the challenges.
