NOBLNG Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 That does look fantastic!? As others have said, that is the most realistic bare metal look I’ve ever seen. 1

customline Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 There's nothing I can say that has not been said except.....I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! 1
customline Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 I was just looking through my "research" pix and this one jumped out at me. I really must try this finish. Very inspirational. 1
Chevy II Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 What color did you use for the floor. And can I ask how you applied the Rub-n-Buff? Isn't it a wax? I know you applied it with a sponge, but does it dry in place?

I know you applied it with a sponge, but does it dry in place? The floor is various tones of AK Interactive rust paints, stippled together. The Rub-N-Buff is a wax, but is bonds to the Metalizers without coming off as it stains the paint, more or less. 1 hour ago, customline said: I was just looking through my "research" pix and this one jumped out at me. alan barton Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 I have to add my name to the list of people in love with your bare metal finish - man, magnets would stick to that thing! I have to try this on a project car for my workshop diorama. Loved the number plates and the expanded mesh as well - just a really neat model all round! Cheers Alan 1
