59 Impala Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Nope, sure don't. I had this before I went into the Army back in 1966.

galaxyg Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Only 2 of the cars I've owned exist in kit form, and they are two of my trio of mid-life-crisis sports cars. (The third being a last generation Honda Prelude). Two photos of each, the latter of each is photographed on top of the car itself. Mazda RX-8: Nissan 350Z. 1
Scott8950 Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Only one for now.. 92 gsp mustang with Windsor from lightning.. 1
mrmike Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) My third car that I owned was a 1970 Plymouth Duster 340. Manual everything with exhaust headers. Was a well-used money pit as I had replaced the clutch, starter, tires, regulators, trued the wheels, and repaired the taillights so they wouldn't leak. This car was a love-hate affair. I loved to hate it! Edited January 9, 2023 by mrmike 3
59 Impala Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 My 1959 Impala sport coupe. 348, 3 speed on the tree. I converted the Revell 59 from an automatic, power steering to a 3speed on the tree. Removed the power steering stuff on the frame and no power brakes. Added a clutch and removed the automatic stuff on the steering column. Changed the bell housing and the transmission is a copy of one from the 57 Chevy. Added a 4-barrel carb instead of the 3 duces. 3
Tom Geiger Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) My beloved '56! I had this in the late 70s. I started the model last year, got this far! My father's Beetle from when we lived in Germany. That's the only picture I have of it, sitting out front of his office. And I started it last year and only got this far! 59 Impala Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Replica of my 61 Impala that I had. I installed a 283 instead of the 409. 2
59 Impala Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 My 63 Datsun that I had while on Okinawa from late 68 to New Year's Eve 69. 1
Dave72 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Many years ago just out of high school, I had an 84 Cutlass Supreme. (model is an 83) It was a wrecked car I bought from the insurance company. Many hours of hard work later and it was just like new. My replica didn’t take nearly as long! Resin hood doesn’t fit so good. 2

Resin hood doesn’t fit so good. I had a buddy in the Navy that had an 82? Cutlass in Charcoal Metallic. I traded him my full sized spare tire for his spacesaver spare tire, I still have and have used it twice and transferred into at least 2 of my classic Grand Prixs. 1
Bills72sj Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I have built models of one of my cars and two of my best friends cars (both of which I had driven a number of times). 1st up, my first Grand Prix circa 1983-84. Models: Modified Johnny Lightning, 1972 MPC annual and all wood replica commissioned by my best friend. 2nd up, a good friend in HS 1970 SS 396 4-speed. The only thing I did not do was the black vinyl top. 3rd up. my BFF in the Navy Jeff's 1970 R/T SE (built up) 383 Magnum 4-speed. 2
