So first off, I would like to say I am a jealous person for those of you that have a basement or room to do what we love and especially if you have a paint booth in said location. I myself don’t, I have to wait for favorable weather to go into my garage and paint. So, that being said I was able to get some painting done as well, a lot of carbon decals done. The weather in Nor Cal has been crazy to say the least… lot of rain and some snow. So hope you like my little update, I should have more to show very soon

Great update Chris.

I'm with you on painting in the garage.  It's been either too humid or too cold to paint here.

It looks formidable Chris. The way you cleared the CF decals looks very real, like a the layer of resin would show atop the fiber sheets.

I personally like the shiny look of the carbon 😁 so I use a gloss coat of clear

It’s been a wile since my last update.

I hade to wait a couple weeks for a set of replacement decals, I re did the front, after looking at a couple other people’s build’s. I decided to add carbon decals to the bottom plate. As you can see the front suspension is installed and attached the engine to the tub. Then came all the little fiddley bits that add to the realism of the car.

Next on the menu is to install the gearbox and start on the body panels.

Till next time 😁

It seems like I’m always behind on commenting on peoples’ threads.  I am really enjoying watching this come together, Chris.  Once again, you are doing a masterful job on your chosen subject.  I’m looking forward to the next update!

Well it’s been a minute since my last update, I have managed to put the wheels and tires on, got the body panels painted and cleared. Now a little decal session. I have been pre occupied with other projects, hopefully I can stay on this till it’s completion 🤣 probably not ….

Hey Chris , was great to have lunch with you. Did you fit all the Ferrari parts in your car? You’ll have to post that one

Yeah it was a good time, need to get together more often when we can.

no I could not, it’s still at Marks, next visit I’ll get it. It should be a cool build.
