I got this stripped build up in trade from MJ. I made a mild kustom out of it.

Wheels and tires from 53 Chevy Corvette. A set of Bob Dudek's side pipes. Rear cover from 59 El Camino.

Paint is light green pearl, PPG clearcoat with white pearl inter. Spots are from the parts box.

The decal on the grill is from 60 Impala.

Rear tailights and chrome rings are from 60 Impala I ground off the ring from the Impala rear panel

WOW!! That's schweet ! I really like the mild custom look on this and the color is just awesome, not too flashy, but with a little gotcha factor.

Nice work Irv !!! I also have a stripped built up '60 El Camino just begging to get restored. I hope mine comes out lookng that good.

I too have a built up that could stand restoring..............you don't see many of these as they are soooo hard to find!

I'm tempted to one day kitbash it with the '59 to get full engine detail............;)

Another job well done,Irv.The photo's are exceptionaly nice! And Bill, you can make a NICE 60 by useing the chassis and engine compartment from the 59 Elky,They interchange without ANY problems.I did it, and it came out pretty good, if I say so myself! Go for it,Daddy-O!
