Ace-Garageguy
Yeah. An "optivisor" helps.
customline
Magnification is essential for me. That, and tweezers. I drop stuff a lot so I keep a streamlight and a long stick with tape on the end. Without any of those things I may as well just watch Netflix ☺️.
Miatatom
I tried everything back in the 70s. Is that what you're asking? 😂

1972coronet
I'm 53 and I'm lucky if I can see - read - part numbers and locate 1/25 scale fuel pumps on the runners. Just thinking about fiddly stuff like ignition wires makes my knuckles swell-up!

Big John
keeping the floor clean is essential to finding those small parts when they fall on the floor, that and a good flash light. Each decade brings it's own challenges.
Sidney Schwartz
Really liking these. Very comfortable, nice bright LED lights, and you can choose from four magnifications. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081TV2GNH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 To bad Amazon doesn't sell replacement brains. customline
I think we septagenarians should be exempt from using PE wire looms and adding carburetor linkage. Either of those two things could mean a stroke for us. If we could do some lobbying maybe we could force the PE industry to label their products. customline
I just showed Steve's Bonneville dash to my wife. After she studied it, woefully, she says "he put a cigar in the ash tray?" I said" Yup! That steering wheel is the size of a dime! Look at that detail!" She says "I don't see the lighter. Where's the lighter?" This is coming from a woman who has never smoked in her life....I don't show her my stuff very often. 😕 Edited January 10, 2023 by customline Emphasis added
