Thank you triple R, I have no other source to compare it against the only other body close to it is the 34 5 window, and for all intents I can only find (besides the too short nose(and thats already been hacked and binned)) the overall length of the body matches, as does the width. But again I’m comparing apples to kumquats. For my eyes it’s as close as I’m going to get. I wish there was a better body out there.

It's all good, as they say, 'run what ya brung'....Carry on! -RRR

I saw your picture of that chassis, this is what I did to an AMT '36 Ford.

You can do the same thing on your '34 if you'd like.

It was fairly easy and totally worth it:

Found this interior tub in my bins, no idea what it came from but it fits not that the floor pan has been separated, buckets seem very 70’s so I think I’ll stick with the bench.

Looks like maybe a Willys interior- but I like the bench seat better than the buckets.

It could very well be Paul. And the bench is staying.

onto the engine work and a quasi teaser of colour.

The buckets are too cheap looking.. a re-upholstered original spring.. The bench looks a bit too narrow but a bench is the best choice for a tiny car like the '34. Is it a driver, a kid's car? And when? Go with a bench, mho.

The bench is a stock amt 34 piece? I’ll go with ease of install for this one.

I thought that seat looked familiar.  Perfect! Re-upholstered original springs. A high school driver! It could work.

Had a complete squirrel moment last night, and decided that it was time to clean and rearrange my display cabinet.then after that was done I got back to work on the engine.

I’m on the fence of adding details or just building it semi out of the box ??‍♂️

Trying so hard to stay focused on this, desk was a mess so I cleaned it, I think my body is trying to procrastinate about the plug wires!

New shot of primer on the body, so far no “major” flaws in my Body work.  Im pretty happy with the colour choice it has a very nice 60’s vibe, hope to have the interior finished this evening.

It’s looking good Bil. You sure have a nice collection there.? I fully understand the procrastination thing…I too get sidetracked easily. I have a few books on how to conquer it, but haven’t got around to reading them yet.?

With the exception of 5 survivors, that is my sun total of two years worth of building.

So at the end of my Sunday this is where I am…

Sadly the interior will need a few touch ups and the installation of the window cranks.
The frame and suspension are complete, just need to add the steering linkage.

Then I may actually do the plug wires.

Looking really nice Bil, i like your bench and should be easy to two tone if you choose too. Nice looking engine also!

Thank for the kind words Carl, I’d like to upgrade the bench to something that has more storage options, this is just an old office table. I’ll keep the two tone option in mind. I’m kinda going for almost show car vibe.

It's hard to wire those darn flathead distributors. I have not seen one from a kit that depicts it well. It looks like you did your homework, though. The whole project is moving ahead nicely, Bil. Thumbs up ?  on the color.

Jim I’ve researched them a fair bit, as you may have seen I do like a fine ford flathead engine lol.

I start with the plug wire and strip off a small section of the sheathing, cut two lengths of scale 2 1/4 heater hose, put them on a tip of one of my dentist picks, heat them slightly to get a bend and then let them cool, put the plug wire in and apply a small drop of cyanoacrylate glue.

Will do Jim, and thank you

Extreme close up of the plug wires with the tube from the distributer. Next is to attach boots to the plugs and then insert the wires.

Please ignore the ugliness on the frame it will be hidden again when the fender aprons go back on.
