skymnky721 Posted February 28, 2023 Share Posted February 28, 2023 Hi all,,I was watching the thunderbirds TV show,,,circa late 60's or so,,and I was amazed at all the model set work,,and vehicles ,,cars,,trucks,,landscapes in that show. The characters in the show are all puppets,,which is alot of work in its self,,but the space ships,,cars,,trucks ,,landscapes ARE AMAZING. There was no computer generated graphics in those days,,everything was hand built,,if you have a chance ,,check out that show,,its wild. Some of their work has been on YouTube. During the pandemic lockdown, they put together a new series based around marionettes and props they had handy. It ran for several episodes on YT. ChrisBcritter Posted March 6, 2023 Share Posted March 6, 2023 The writers must have had a thing for American cars - Thunderbirds and Stingray - whose main character was named Troy Tempest, and Supercar's protagonist was Mike Mercury.
