Hi all,,I was watching the  thunderbirds TV show,,,circa late 60's or so,,and I was amazed at all the model  set work,,and vehicles ,,cars,,trucks,,landscapes in that show. The characters in the show are all puppets,,which is alot of work in its self,,but the space ships,,cars,,trucks  ,,landscapes ARE AMAZING.  There was no computer generated graphics in those days,,everything was hand built,,if you have a chance ,,check out that show,,its wild.

There is a small studio in the UK (Century 21 Films) that is making films based on the old Thunderbirds series.  Some of their work has been on YouTube.  During the pandemic lockdown, they put together a new series based around marionettes and props they had handy.  It ran for several episodes on YT.  In fact it became so popular, after the pandemic wound down, they continued production.  It's called "Nebula 75".

and also Fireball XL-5.

The drinking and smoking was a funny addition to the marionettes. If you watch any 60's tv show that was the norm so why shouldn't it apply to this show except it was for kids. 🤔
