FatboyLowrider
This one was fun! First model I've painted flat. Might add some trim, like handles and lights in the future but I felt shes just an old overpowered willys someone fired together to get down the strip. When I have a few more under my belt Id like to do a rusty weathered build. AMT CokaCola Willys Gasser kit, i feel like the nose on it seems large but maybe that was how willys were. None the less I had fun as always, and thats the most important part of the hobby! Its the process not the outcome. Thanks again for looking everyone. rrb124@sbcglobal.net
You nailed it. Love how the big engine is way back almost touching the firewall. Good tilt too.
TarheelRick
Very nice build, looks like a true backyard racer. That front end seems to fit really well with the rest of the body. AMT/Round2 or whomever must have done some work on the molds.

Silvercreeker
Nice, you got the wheelbase right in the front, many of the AMT Willy's kits have the front wheels tucked back to far... Looks nice

Looks nice Yes for sure! I made sure the axle was lining up with the wheel well before I permanently glued it, also trimmed the alignent pins off the knuckles in order to get the wheels a little further forward exactly where I wanted them. That is for sure an area to pay close attention to when doing the willys. Good eye Silvercreeker!
