The thread did explain the graphic, and yes the project never came to fruition.  It's been over a decade now.  From the time when there were rumors of useable JoHan tooling.

I interviewed Ernie Petit (for MCM) at the IHobby show in Chicago (actually Rosemont) where he discussed planning to resurrect these.  At the time, the newly formed IMC (not to be confused with the original IMC) was working out licensing and other details.  Not long after, he passed away and this all faded away.

IIRC, they were going to also offer the 1959 Rambler wagon, as well as another original Jo-Han I can't remember. A 70's Olds, perhaps?

Something like that.  But it didn't get very far
