Bainford Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Nice work Pat. Cool looking Sierra. Good work on all those decals.
Peter Lombardo Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 Wow, that is a crazy livery..... those headlights look insane. Nicely done.
PatW Posted April 15, 2023 Author Posted April 15, 2023 Thanks guys, one of the front pod light lenses fogged up so I cut a new one out of shopping plastic tray, hey presto!
peter31a Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 I’ve been eyeing that kit. Your build really makes me want to get one of them. Well done, Pat.
PatW Posted April 17, 2023 Author Posted April 17, 2023 Thanks Peter of Ontario. We are out in Calgary Alberta in June to visit family!
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Very nice! So many details and features. Wish we could see cars like this in the USA. Good work on the intricate decal work.
afx Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Nice work Patrick. What was you impression of the kit?
PatW Posted April 17, 2023 Author Posted April 17, 2023 Thanks guys, yes I love decals! The kit itself was of a high quality.
Bruce Scully Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 A real nice build , well done . Unfortunately these kits are quite expensive by the time that they land in Australia.
PatW Posted April 26, 2023 Author Posted April 26, 2023 Thanks guys. Yes they are expensive, it was a birthday pressie from my wife for my 75th!
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 And you did a really nice job of your pressie. Happy B Day by the way.
PatW Posted April 27, 2023 Author Posted April 27, 2023 Thanks Rattlecan Dan, yes being Patrick my birthday (only 75) just happens to be on St Patricks Day! Born to an Irish mother too.
Claude Thibodeau Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Hi Patrick! Very unique subject. I had 3 1/1 Merkur XR4Ti in the late 80's ( the north-american Sierra), and I loved them. If I may: I'm puzzled by the shape of the front wheels... They seem to be very high offset. Was-it for cooling purpose? Just curious... CT
