Greetings from Trinidad

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Just found this site from a picture in Bing, and I sign up. I'm 49 years old, I live in Trinidad and Tobago (the last island at the bottom of the Caribbean). I've been modelling for 35 years. I've built everything for aircraft to ships. To be completely honest, I have bought more models than I have built, my stash is out of control (800 to 900) to be built. My intention is reaching a production of 3-4 kits per month heading into retirement and replace storage space with shelf space. That's all for now, thanks for listening.

Wloomed aboard, Kurt. It's a good place for model builders.

I visited Trinidad in 63, 64 and 65 while in the US Navy. We picked up the admiral and his staff that were stationed there and circled South America. I have many fond memories of visiting there. It's a beautiful place. Love the steel drum bands.
