Joe Lange Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 After fooling around with my 'background scenery' and lighting I thought I'd put this Frankenstein in the 'Under Glass' section. The drivetrain is a 1955 Chrysler 300C. Paint is Dupli-Color 'Medium Green Pearl Metallic' with clear topcoat. Interior is Dupli-Color 'Medium Beige' vinyl & fabric spray. And lots of bits and pieces from the spare parts box and Ebay! More pics in the WIP section. Hope you like it! 8
Rattlecan Dan Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Gotta admit, it's a pretty striking build. Nice color and paint job. Great work on the detailing as well.
Dave Van Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Well done....reminds me of the Ghia bodied Chryslers......
espo Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 The body looks far better than expected from when you started this build. Great looking paint and the engine looks at home here.
karbuildr Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 Very well done, great color on an unusual model. Two thumbs up for sure.
larman Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 This is really cool! I have seen these kits over years and wrote them off as unassembled toys. It is great that you saw more! It looks like one of the Chrysler show cars or an Italian American hybrid of that time period. 1
bisc63 Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Very nicely done, and was interesting and fun to watch your progress on this build. Fantastic results, but I'm especially impressed by the interior; your color choices and detailing really stand out. 1
