Didn't this kit out come once with some Faux '68 Parts, to make a "Street Machine" with engine options and an extra set of wheels?

Had a Yellow Box or Yellow car on the box?

Yep, just a "street machine", since they didn't bother to tool up correct '68 interior parts.

That's just the most recent reissue, that faux '68 was originally done back in 1984 two years after the '69 was tooled up as a new kit.

I hope it's in line too

We have the Round 2 AMT '68 proper now! Although it is 1/25, and it would be nice to have the 1/24 sister ship to the '69 Monogram done some justice.

This is the one I will hunt down when I am ready to build one.

Thanks for sharing the box art.

Built from the original kit not long after its release.  Wheels from the Monogram "Bad Actor" IIRC, and pseudo Verdero Green using Pactra spray paints.  I believe I may have swapped the air cleaner for the updated part released in one of the later reissues of this kit....TB

Beautiful Build, Tim.

Another example of why you are one of the most talented Muscle Car builders.

Hits all the right notes. Stock Finish, Day 2 Wheels, great looks.

”all that Monogram goodness!”

yes! The question is if Monogram is the new Jo-Han. In the absence of old pristine Jo-Han you can still find old Monogram and also new white ones.
In addition, they are easy to build.
