Justin Porter
That really sets the bar quite high for finishing off one of the best Jag kits on the market.
bmil128
Great job, this makes me want to find a copy of this kit. Here is Steve McQueen's XKSS at the Petersen Museum from a trip in 2017
Bugatti Fan
Lovely model build and superb finish. You can see the lineage from the Le Mans C and D Types. Matt Bacon mentioned the tyres reacting to the plastic wheels after a while. Had this happen to an Airfix Bentley that I built years ago. If the kit tyres are Vinyl they have an adverse chemical reaction when constantly against Polystyrene plastic unless a barrier like paint or foil is used. This is a thing to look out for in kits that have been stored for years with loose vinyl tyres in the box. I have also found out this the hard way with tyres and kit parts ruined whilst concealed in their box. Always separate them. Either put the tyres into a separate polystyrene bag of wrap them in tissue to keep them away from the main kit parts.
