This is an excellent kit, everything fits, no major issues at all. I've built a couple of them and it's one of my favorite kits. This is the custom version of the kit with custom wheels, tires and disc brakes, as well as a slightly lowered front suspension. It's painted in a nonstandard color using Testors enamel and the color is called Bug Yellow #1632. I swear that's the actual name. I decanted and airbrushed it. It's one of the nicest yellows I've ever used. I think the air cleaner might have come from the AMT Baldwin-Motion Camaro. I found it in my parts box and thought it looked pretty decent. I didn't bother with the outside rear view mirror since they always seem to get broken off, even when I pin them.

That is an extremely attractive yellow and an excellent build overall. I like the chromed look on the gas tank and exhausts.

Very appealing street machine there David. I have the AMT pro street 67 Chevelle in my stash and your build has my head swimming with ideas for it. Well done on a clean build.

Cheers,

David. ??

Thanks Tom. The exhausts are painted Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf with TS-13 Clear. The gas tank is bare metal foil.

Beautiful looking paint finish and trim. Like the engine and chassis detailing, great looking stance.

Good lord, I've. Been blinded?. Really nice build. It looks great in that color. I started this kit a while ago, but put it away for some reason. I many have to pull it back out.

That looks sweet! Do you have a pic of the yellow paint bottle? Is it enamel or acrylic?
