BobbyG
Been working on this old resin Dodge that I've had for over 20 years and was going to dump it until a friend told me I was crazy, so I decided to give it a new life and create a detailed and unique truck. The body has been thinned and cleaned up, the chassis from the AMT 53 Ford PU, pu bed is from the Dodge Little Red Truck, Hemi engine from the 57 Chrysler 300 (may as well do it right), parts box stuff and a lot of scratch building and mods. I'm going overboard with details but hey, it's saving an old Dodge that you don't see in scale. Color will be a Chrysler pale blue , black steelies and possible front axle. The headliner and door panels are scratch made. Using Detail Masters wood bed panels. This resin came with P/E badging that were made by MCG. I scratch built the front grille to represent a 59 version and dual headlights are the custom parts from the 53 Ford. Final details will be brake and fuel lines. Maindrian Pace
This looks great, and I love the engine choice. Nice to see a vintage resin get the treatment.

It's a rare and beautiful piece of art! Oh, and you're doing a killer job on it.

BobbyG
Just a few adjustments, final details, and a little body work then onto the spray booth for Chrysler Pale Blue paint from MCW. I decided on using Moebius Duallies, just released by Pegasus as a wheel / tire pack and think it looks great and fitting. Tge upholstery is from Scale Motorsports and gives a 50's look. The exhaust system is scratch built with mufflers from tge parts box. I used Detail Master's P/E exhaust clamps. Brakes complete the chassis. The 57 Chrysler Hemi sits at home in the engine compartment. Can't wait to finish this one.

BobbyG
First color coat, Chrysler Pale Blue. I'm debating if I should clear coat it, it has a nice shine but hey, it's old truck.

leafsprings
Excellent subject matter, this build really shows the character of these older generation of trucks. Very nice detail work all the way around, keeping close to the 50's theme.
