'69 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible

After building the hardtop, I had no intention of building the spare Corvair that came along with the red one. @Koellefornia Kid mentioned that he built a convertible from an inspiration he saw on the web. This got me thinking. Most of what I needed was in the box except for a smooth rear deck. I had 2 rally decks so I tried my best with body filler and sanding. It took forever and I still wasn't happy with it so I just used what I had. Mirrors and battery are from the boneyard, the fan shroud was scratch built. Paint is Duplicolor black metallic and the clear is Krylon gloss. The interior is Krylon as well.
