NOBLNG Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Super cool looking build! The paint job is beautiful!?
athlon Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 I agree with everyone else, that's a great build. I have done that kit and I can say there are alot of tiny, finicky pieces, aside from how nice you have done everything, just getting this kit together correctly is a hard task, again, great work!
Deathgoblin Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 Wow! I thought those were pics of the real car at first. Outstanding job!
ea0863 Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 Beautiful rendition of a fantastic rod. Well done as always!
Rattlecan Dan Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 Great photography of a wonderful build. It has it all. Really nice presentation.
echo Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 So many nicely done details to see in your build. You did a wonderful job replicating the car, the presentation is stunning, great work all around on a finicky model.

Bullybeef Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Now that in my humble opinion is the best rendition of that kit I have ever seen.

Like the Beer Tap shift leaver, remember when that was a must have item. Thank fer yer comment, I tried to replicate the real cars shifter which wuz an "Old Tap" beer brand tap handle. 1
1959 Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Wow, a great build and the paint looks really impressive. What type of paint you have used?
Dave Darby Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Superb build of a challenging kit. I still have the original Bob Johnston flathead version on my bucket list. But in the meantime I'm going to drool over yours.

Wild Child Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Beautiful build, really has 'the look'. Out of curiousity, are the pinstripes from the actual kit, or did you use pinstriping on it? If so, what striping did you use? I have not found anything I like that is readily available.
Charger Funny Car Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Excellent job!!! That kit was my very first attempt at model building back in the mid 60's. It was such an unmitigated disaster "glue & paint everywhere" that I swore off the hobby!

Thank you fer yer comment. The pinstripe decals are in the latest restored release of the kit (circa 2012), took several sheets pieced together to get the "right" fit of the pinstripes as they do not quite fit the body correctly.
