I just love love love '36 Fords, and this old dinosaur still builds up really nice in the hands of somebody who cares enough to deal with its shortcomings. Oh yeah, shortcomings it definitely has: let's just say that engine is a very 'snug' fit! And as to having to put those headers on AFTER the engine went in...... ask my wife about all the new swear words I invented. I didn't have to resort to putty (which I try to avoid at all costs on any build) but there was a 1/16 or so gap on both sides where the rear door line meets the roof that I filled with plastic sheet. I did use a little filler, right now it is in primer. I have a couple of resin chop-tops in my stash. A 3 and a 5 window.
