My kids all got together and treated my wife & I to KISS at Madison Square Garden last night for a Christmas gift. I've been a big fan for years and have seen them 5 or 6 times but this is "SUPPOSED TO BE" the end of the tour, we'll see. I have to say it was a GREAT show and a great time but I HATE driving in the city. I'm a New Yorker, born & raised here but not from the city. I'm a little more than 2 hours North. I live on a gravel road in the woods so that City driving kills me. Anyway, there is 1 more show tonight so if anyone is going, enjoy it and I hope it's a blast!

Always wanted to see Kiss live, but never did.Looks like it was a wild night at MSG.An ex gf once bought her and I tickets to see them awhile back, but we split up before the concert.?Anyway,KISS has always been one of my favorite bands of all time. And I’m from busy, traffic congested Long Island, and I too hate driving in the city.It is definitely a challenge to say the least, but it could also be pretty fun.Idk,maybe cause i’m older now.Its every man for themselves driving in the 5 boroughs..And like Sinatra said,if you can make it in NY,u can make it anywhere.Yea,and that goes for driving as well.Glad u both had a great time.Did they play a lot of their old stuff, like Parasite Lady, which has gotta be my favorite classic Kiss song(Great live B/W video from 75)forgot what hall they were playing. And you gotta realize, and I know it sucks, but these boys are getting older now,but then again, look at the Stones.

My wife is from upstate New York (Fishkill/Hopewell Junction) and she got to see Pink Floyd at The Garden back around 87.  I’m jealous, always been a fan of KISS but never got to see them live.

I won tickets for Bryan Adams at MSG back in 1984. At the time, I worked at JC Pennys and they ran a contest drawing to see him in MSG. I was one of the lucky winners. I guess stuffing the ballot boxes every morning while on the job (I worked the day shift in the maintenance dept) before the store opened at different cashier stations paint off for me. LOL!

While I never been to a KISS concert, I am a big fan of the '70s stuff (original KISS) - their music and the theatrical performance. Everything else after that (with few exceptions) is meh.

I also have to chuckle when I see any of those '60s and '70s Rock bands still performing today.  Those guys are old farts!  I wonder how, back in their prime in the '70s they would look at themselves as 60- and 70-something guys playing live rock concerts.  It's surreal!  Not that there is anything wrong with that.  Rock on 'till you drop guys!

Saw them in the Summer of 1975 at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ. The place holds maybe 3500 people. After that, the “Live” album came out. Pretty much wore out the 8-track player in my ‘55 Chevy with that! Kinda gave up on them after “Beth”.
