TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted December 22, 2023 Author Posted December 22, 2023 This is a real car that a friend of mine use to own. It was a great reference for the project 2
TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted December 22, 2023 Author Posted December 22, 2023 (edited) The completed model! this was a fun build. Thanks for all the likes and looks!! Edited December 22, 2023 by TheBEAUMONTGURU wrong pics
TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted December 22, 2023 Author Posted December 22, 2023 I topped it off with some photoshopped decals i printed out. Its got a Sinclair Pontiac dealer decal from Ontario, the Valve cover decal and Laurentian emblem is also one i made myself.
doggie427 Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 Beautiful work! My uncle worked at the St.Catherines engine plant and drove one of these. 1
Straightliner59 Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 Excellent work, DA! Great looking car, too!
Anglia105E Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 Nicely done Pontiac, DA . . . I used to own a 1968 Pontiac Parisienne 4-door, which was right hand drive from Canada . . . My Pontiac was finished in Maize yellow with brown vinyl roof, 5.3 litre V8 engine, auto transmission and registration number in England was FCK 33 I built a 1:24 scale model of the Parisienne from a resin body kit, and I have photos for anyone interested in Pontiac's David 1
kelson Posted December 23, 2023 Posted December 23, 2023 Beautiful job!,it would great if someone offered 3d parts to build variants like this and the 60's beaumonts and 60's Acadian Canso,we canadians want them!!! 2

Maindrian Pace Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Amazing conversion, and a super clean build. Great looking car, too.
junkyardjeff Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Looks like GM of Canada had no problem offering the 261,in the states it was only offered in the very big trucks and took me awhile to find one.
TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 yes. 55 thru 62 canadian pontiacs got the 261 when a 6cyl engine was ordered.
