David G. Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 I'm sorry to learn of your health issues, I hope you're well soon. Nice progress on the build, I like the nitro bottle. David G. 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted March 14, 2024 Author Posted March 14, 2024 (edited) I wanted a cleaner looking bumper up front of my project Stoo Short so I took the stock one... ...and removed the bumper guards: Tried to paint it with Molotow butt it didn't work ? After using a lot of four letter words I covered t with BMF: Not really satisfying but better than my Molotow try... Body is primered now and I did a quick mock-up: Edited March 14, 2024 by Koellefornia Kid 1

Koellefornia Kid Posted March 24, 2024 Author Posted March 24, 2024 Engine is painted, assembled and wired: and the body was dipped in Zero Paints Plum Crazy Puple: 4 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted March 29, 2024 Author Posted March 29, 2024 Ok, now it‘s official: I messed it up! Had a lot of trouble with the clear coat and The BMF (maybe too old?- I don‘t know...) But well, it is like it is. I just want to finish that thing... Interior is ready so far: So is the custom rear bumper with the taillights painted Revell clear red:
David G. Posted March 30, 2024 Posted March 30, 2024 It's a good color choice and the paint looks okay from what I can see. I do understand the need to be done with a build though. It should look good when it's all put together. David G. 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted April 7, 2024 Author Posted April 7, 2024 One of the things that had to be done was to modify the window glass since I chopped the top. I used the kit‘s clear parts and cut them to fit: After the assembly I scratch built a set of exhaust tips from Evergreen tubes and notched the rear bumper to give them a home: And now it‘s done: It was a tough build and not everything I wanted to do succeeded but it is finally off the bench now and I can switch to something new! Thanks for watching, guys! See ya! 1
Phildaupho Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 I like it a lot. Looking forward to more photos Under Glass. 2
