Tom Geiger Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 The 57 Ford is a restoration. I found it in a junk box for $5 at GSL last spring. I liked the color scheme so I decided it was too good for parts! It had no suspension nor bumpers. It needed a general clean up, and I updated the BMF. Engine not wired, it's just a shelf model. The 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery was my 2022 24 Hour Build that I never finished. I was cleaning off the work bench and decided to finish it. It's a patina resto, some bright chrome and wheels with a weathered body. 9
Michael F Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Great job on both! I like weathered models. ? 1

Tom Geiger Posted January 10, 2024 Author Posted January 10, 2024 Thanks guys! I’m now working on getting the replica of my old 56 Chevy off the bench for my first build of 2024. Did anyone catch the branding on the sedan delivery?
happy grumpy Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 Great looking pair. I find completing stalled projects very satisfying. Thanks for sharing.
ncbuckeye67 Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Quality over quantity! Two really nice builds there.

How Uncle Billy misplaced that deposit always bothered me... $8,000 was alot of money in those days. Of course George takes the rap for him, still holds up over 75 years later. I watched that movie every year in 80's... it was the only thing on at Christmas time as we only had 3 channels.? 1
