Well, ya got the yahoo cowboys at the tire stores who put every nut on with an impact wrench set at WIDE OPEN instead of a torque wrench (and stretch the studs which deforms the threads and seizes the nut), you got the knuckle-dragging hackers who have no clue but believe they're God's gift to machinery while they ruin everything they touch, you got the outright crooks, you got the people working on cars because they're "too stupid to do anything else", and then you got the little fellas with potmetal "tools" they bought at Offshore Junk Я Us (and not a one of 'em has a phone app to work it). That's the vast majority of what's out there. Use the right tool (or part) correctly and understand the job you're doing...on either end? Who you trying to kid, anyway? David G. Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I watch those videos once in a while and all I can say is: Stop locking up the spray paint and Lock up the Spray Foam! David G. 1
The Junkman Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I'm not much of a Reddit user but this sub-Reddit is both horrifying and amusing. https://www.reddit.com/r/Justrolledintotheshop/ 1

Tabbysdaddy Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I get messed with for not using air tools. I guess I should for taking apart, but I like to feel how tight I'm tightening things. 1

A WHOLE lot of truth to that, and it gets worse with every generation of vehicles. 1

Years ago I knew a "race car mechanic" who assembled a 427 in a Cobra with air wrenches. Laughed at anyone trying to tell him about controlled bolt stretch, etc. Car scattered the engine, a rod through the side of the block, on the second lap. 1
Bruce Scully Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I just watched your video . That is scary that people will drive some of these vehicles . Some people are also so stupid and they are allowed to breed. 1
Mattilacken Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 (edited) Its sick that they deny repairs and continue to drive in many of these cases! I made a service to a freinds car and they said it had noice from the brakes and yes, the pads where al gone and it was shy a mm until the caliper was damaged. i orderd parts and did the repari Edited June 19, 2024 by Mattilacken 1
slusher Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 I’m in shock. The cooking oil in engine and another case 90 weight to stop a oil leak among others…

There are hundreds of videos like this on YT, and for every one that gets recorded, there are probably 1000 that don't.
