leafsprings Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 (edited) 1970 F 250 Camper Special with "Custom" trim. Wheels, tires and hubcaps are from the '68 F 250 kit. Upgrades are 3 arm western mirrors and front bumper from the 70's issue AMT star truk kit with additional photo etch emblems. Painted Royal Maroon from Scalefinishes. Would be nice if there was a resin 10' camper available, the rear springs are ready for some weight. Edited March 30, 2024 by leafsprings 8
oldscool Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 Every build I have seen of these Moebius Ford trucks look great and this one is no exception. 1
bill lanfear Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 Nice work Tom, I love the stance, mirrors, and color.....looks like the real deal!
vincen47 Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 Great truck. I agree, wish truck campers more readily available. 1
CA Whitecloud Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 That paint job finish with that tru 70s color is far out! I like the engine decals touch. 1
Chuck Most Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Friend of mine had a '72 F250 in the same color that I should have bought when I had the chance. This model takes me back. ? 1
Noah H. Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 (edited) That is some beautiful engine detailing! Nice color choice too. Edited March 19, 2024 by Noah H. 1
leafsprings Posted March 23, 2024 Author Posted March 23, 2024 (edited) Thanks for all the positive comments. Any resin 1/25 scale slide in campers such as this old Lindberg HO? Only larger camper I believe is the Model King Open Road chassis type. Edited March 23, 2024 by leafsprings

Another option is to modify the camper in the recent 65 El Camino.
leafsprings Posted March 23, 2024 Author Posted March 23, 2024 (edited) Not up to scratch building, you would think a 3d printer could convert this 1/64 to 1/25 fairly easily? https://www.ebay.com/itm/266702055910?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110013%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIMRXI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20201210111452%26meid%3D286f2e009cf74675b226ef92ce4958cd%26pid%3D101196%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D225991652314%26itm%3D266702055910%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D4429486%26algv%3DPromotedRVIPbooster%26brand%3DGreenlight&_trksid=p4429486.c101196.m2219&itmprp=cksum%3A266702055910286f2e009cf74675b226ef92ce4958cd|enc%3AAQAJAAABECwDxH%2FaslyJlxG5OwCzDVsvFPdCc7oPNES2pO%2FdXErh3FWD0RY5Z4as3zE1mat3WT6Ucv9T827oSX6ueBxJTFw2r9p2wb0deZUMMzPdc3WQ3XwhMEF9hcgM3SytbId%2FKeAwSu%2Fbt4zAQVlC5sBI42M%2BXde2gW0onrjpsko07Y7Bvd1rfYTTkMam4g4ddm7MLfMk5jjLmdDhSMavlGx8dn372r3WVDR5pnNNuF8WrMHgGO6GHUVdSrSrGx4oTSNyHJVdOMe%2FtKNCjwUoVmq26XvX1vzPx1y5cmXVWmKUaz2P500%2Bh7Tk%2FFDwscfqeyDRAQ6GTrS4xtcGI88ALdzTP0%2FwOutjq0KTMnXH7Ha9ekwC|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A4429486&epid=8066029999&itmmeta=01HSP08BTDT89CZJE60Z242GYC Edited March 23, 2024 by leafsprings
