Limeyglue Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 Here is my newest WIP. Revell Thames panel van with the chassis cleaned up of the old gasser suspension and then braced up. The rear axle is from a 32 Ford which has been narrowed. The front is a IFS from Motobitz. The wheels and tyres are from the parts box with the rears using the 32 backs. Still got to finish off the rear suspension and then start the engine mounts for the small block Ford I'm using Thanks for looking Lee 6
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 (edited) I really like the stance on this...but I'd probably widen those rear fenders just a tad so the tires wouldn't get cut when she hits a bump...but that's just weird old me. Anyway...she looks GREAT lowered and with that just-right amount of rake. Edited April 1, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy 1 1
dodgefever Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 IFS, what witchcraft is this? ? Looks good, the stance reminds me of Mr Torquer.

NOBLNG Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Cool project, and a nice start…the stance is right on.? 1

Limeyglue Posted April 19, 2024 Author Posted April 19, 2024 Small update Got the rear suspension all in along with the engine and gearbox mounts. On to making a fuel tank and prop shaft and then sort the front brakes. Thanks for looking Lee 3
bobss396 Posted April 21, 2024 Posted April 21, 2024 That is quite a nice resurrection on a flimsy kit chassis. I have a couple of pie wagon kits I should start gathering parts for. I also have a couple of Anglia (Skipper's Critter) kits, one I built in 1970 and I still have the OG box. If you want to go with disc brakes, I have used the Wilwood discs from VCG Resins, (3D printed). I'm using a set on a NASCAR modified coupe I'm working on.
