AMT 66 Thunderbird

Thanks to member Phirewire I was able to finish this kit.

It has been a real adventure in parts fitting to say the least. LoL

The last thing I did was the roof irons. I sanded them down about 60% and then cut them down to fit the roof better.

Great looking paint and trim. These were a very impressive luxury car in its day. The roof Landau Bars and the wheels look just like the real car.

That was always a great kit. I had a parts collection from the kit and I used the interior on a '49 Mercury. It was shallow enough that I cut the bottom off the factory '49 interior tub and located the '66 tub above it.
