OldTrucker Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 (edited) Thanks to member Phirewire I was able to finish this kit. It has been a real adventure in parts fitting to say the least. LoL The last thing I did was the roof irons. I sanded them down about 60% and then cut them down to fit the roof better. Edited April 30, 2024 by OldTrucker 12
karbuildr Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 Very nice 'Bird. I like the color and the details. Hubcaps and whitewalls top it off.
espo Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Great looking paint and trim. These were a very impressive luxury car in its day. The roof Landau Bars and the wheels look just like the real car.
bobss396 Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 That was always a great kit. I had a parts collection from the kit and I used the interior on a '49 Mercury. It was shallow enough that I cut the bottom off the factory '49 interior tub and located the '66 tub above it.
Phildaupho Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Nice to see a well done but not often seen Square Bird
XYHARRY Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Very nice Thunderbird there Johnny, really well done. Cheers, David. ??
