First model car I have built in a while. This is the AMT kit with the addition of a Texas 3d customs 427 SOHC engine with transmission. This kit came together quite nicely with just some minor fitment issues with the inner fenderwells and body shell. Tamiya LP blue pearl was used as the base colour over Tamiya LP gun metal. Mr. Color GX super clear gloss was used for the varnish and then polished. All chrome work was stripped and painted with Alclad II chrome. Cheers!

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The chrome trim all looks perfect. Like the contrasting interior color. Hard to beat the Texas 3d engines for detailing. I'm working on the same model and share your tight fit issue between the interior and the body. Finding that the dash and interior are wider than the inside edges of the windshield and seems to stop the chassis and interior seating all the way into the body without a lot of sanding on the outer edges of the interior.

Really kewl looking 60 Ford Starliner.  The color combo looks super nice.  That's a lot of eye candy going on right there.  Well done.

That's a great introduction to the forum there Brock, your build style is very appealing. Colour combo, wheels, stance and overall detail is outstanding. Really well done and welcome to the forum.

Cheers,

Beautiful Starliner, and that great honking Cammer should get it down the road without much struggle. All round lovely build. Nice work.

That's outstanding. I love the interior, including that B&M-style ratchet shifter. It makes me wish I still had this kit in my stash.
