I completed this kit about a month ago, image.thumb.jpeg.2d2a1b648a9507f83f99b9a525eed98d.jpegbut I lost a headlight somewhere.  It was even glued into the grill & the grill was in the box.  No idea where it went.  Round2 was no help with replacing the part as the kit is OOP, but Carl (slusher) came through!

I found the fit of the kit to be typical AMT quality.  The hood (kind of) fits, the front wheels (sort of) steer, and all four tires (almost) touch the ground.  Eh, whatever.  It looks fine on the shelf.  Color is Testors Gloss Metallic Gold (1244) with the black stripes from the kit.  New York plate is from the MPC 1978 Dodge D100.image.thumb.jpeg.652a18f9197ab1dbab99b369d48b78da.jpegimage.thumb.jpeg.9b03ef42c7966fa29bc3520891e37bd7.jpegimage.jpeg.7121fb07688eccfbba19d13f58f8b6fb.jpegimage.jpeg.2f925d19796648560addee2592970f9a.jpegimage.jpeg.a7b1ae31c25e169b38fd8520ff68723b.jpeg

Engine (glad there were two decals).  Color is Testors Extreme Lacquer Bronze (1847).image.thumb.jpeg.7452cda8f7fcf27963b00f19ce5ff5cb.jpeg

Interior (includes Best Model Car Parts dash gauges):image.thumb.jpeg.ba6f84ec87c2249ff9106f21e298e613.jpeg

Not the best "woodgrain effect", I know, but it's passable.  Hope y'all like it.

Great looking body color and trim. Like the dash gauges, too bad they're hard to see after assembly.

Thanks, guys.

@espo Yes, the dash gages do look nice, but you're right, it's unfortunate that you really can't see them once the car is assembled.

Nice 442 there Jim, the colours look great. I have this kit in my stash but don't recall seeing one built until now, well done.

Cheers,
