michelle Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 this is a rebuild of another model I built a while ago I took it apart to redo it in a different way The rims and trunk lid spoiler are from my parts boxes I did a right hand conversion of the dash and shifter placement i feel the right hand drive dash is the most natural looking and logical layout over left hand drive configuration I painted the body rust-oleum 2x gloss coral 70 cougar.mp4 3

XYHARRY Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 A real headturner there Michelle, that coral colour is a winner and the wheels suit it perfectly. Well done. Cheers, David. ??

satterwhite78 Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Dang it!...... Now I want to do a 70 Cougar! Fantastic build, impressed with the idea of right hand drive dash. Some of these pot lickers in NC drive on the wrong side, perhaps they need right hand drive to increase some of us life expectancy in NC, lol!

shoopdog Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 It looks really nice. I have to wonder if you’ve driven a right hand drive vehicle and what makes them more logical and natural looking?
thatz4u Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 where do you find a 1970 Cougar, I've been looking forever for one...
Claude Thibodeau Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Hi Michelle! Well, you are a patient modeler. Good work. And this is a VERY rare kit, at least in my neck of the woods... CT
