J.B. Customs Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Not a replica build. This started out as a simple build classic paint job, foiled trim work, basic motor swap. The engine swap ran into difficulties leading to chassis modifications also loosing the AC unit off the fire wall and with the blown 572 engine the interior had to be beefed up roll bar, fire extinguisher system, tach, 3 point harness, and a lightning rod shifter setup. The body was another problem I ended up stripping the paint sanding off the body trim around the wheel wells and along the rockers and drilling out the door handles, and changing colors and blacking out the chrome and the tires and rims were a on going battle(couldn’t make up my mind) this build was quite a challenge not to mention my first time detailing an engine 10
Moparman18064 Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Looks great, love the Lightning rods. I had a Duster that had them.

Well done however. I think I used the same wheels on my Monte as your fronts. 1

XYHARRY Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Very tuff Monte Carlo there Jeff, well done. Cheers, David. ??
espo Posted September 1, 2024 Posted September 1, 2024 Great aggressive looking Monte. Like how you did the interior and suspension to match the look of the engine.
ReduitRetro Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 Nice job on this one! I can literally HEAR the pictures!
Andy Oldenburg Posted September 3, 2024 Posted September 3, 2024 Hello Jeff, that´s a mean looking monster! Great job with your details and the engine compartment shows that your build is looking for trouble! Just plain COOL!
ncbuckeye67 Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 That looks amazing! A definite "Street Outlaws" candidate.
