I have never seen one in this color combination, and I grew up in Ford country (Dearborn)!

Yeah, it's a pretty rare color combo.... But Ford built those... Dad gave it to me in '78.. The doors were about to fall off from cancer.. (rust)...? It did have the 302 with a C4 trans and an am radio.. I did end up scrapping it one Winter when the blower fan seized up... I just gave up on it. ?

We're working on Mavericks and same years of Comets - my best guess is a first kit sometime first quarter 2025 - Maybe, March / Aprilish.

We're getting close to mock-ups, might see tooling started before end of 2024 test shots take a couple months at best - box art , instructions and decals take a while - so yeah sometime  late 1st Quarter - early 2nd Q of next year is a reasonable guess.

As for 68-72 Chevy Trucks - we're working on getting 3D's now I'm expecting 3D files around the end of this month - if everything were to go smoothly we might see the first kit in that series by mid year 2025 maybe a tad sooner if everything goes without a hitch  Without a hitch is the key phrase here!

I just unpacked first test shots of our 1964 Comets - I haven't glued anything together yet, but the pieces look pretty good No box art instructions or decals have been started yet  - best guess for these is early 2025 - stay tuned for news on those kits.

These are my best guesses NOT PROMISES! There are lots of moving parts to get all these things done and parts don't always move smoothly.

We do have a few more new pieces in the works beyond those mentioned here

Hello Dave. Any updates on this subject? Thanks in advance.

Rocketfin showed the cover illustration - a street stock Grabber, illustration style looked familiar as if it were the box art main image rendering.

Should be a very cool little whip!

Hoping that the moby scanner got a picture of the JoHan I-6 200-250, which is hands down the best ever of this subject.

I'd take a dozen of them if I could get them for a good price.

Should read like this.

"Rocketfin showed AN illustration (not ours) - a street stock Grabber Maverick."

Just remember, everything you read on the internet is true.  Even when it contradicts itself, it's still all true.

Guys,...this project has been in the works for a long, long time.  I do not know much of the details, but from what  little I do know, it should be a terrific series of kits when they finally break cover.  TB

That’s what I was hoping for as a stock version does nothing for me. However I’d be in for about five of these

Same here.  This is one kit where a stock version doesn't interest me at all

How about it I’ve got decals squirreled away for 7 versions, and I can’t be the only one however I would need at least one stock version to build the orange super stock magazine modified production car

I'll be happy, just to get a kit of the Maverick.

Stock will be fine, but look at Moebius' track record on kits.I am sure that there will be stock and competition versions produced.

What kind of Racer? No one except Eric knows for sure, and he is very wisely not saying much.

We will know, when Moebuis chooses to share with us.

And for the "No Race Version, No Sale" crowd, if there was only a stock version produced, the Resin and 3D aftermarket guys would have you covered in about 90 days. That's the way the world works nowadays.

Besides. Within 10 minutes of the First Post here on what kits are coming, somebody will pop up to complain that whatever is shown, is not the version he was hoping for. It will have the Wrong Engine, Wrong Wheels, Incorrect Decals, or some other "Fatal Flaw" which renders a Brand New, Freshly tooled kit a complete failure for that person.

The Rest of us will buy many copies......

We were a FoMoCo family. My dad's car was a full sized Ford. When we were lucky enough to become a two car family, one of my mother's cars was a Maverick. At 16, when I got my license, the Maverick was my introduction to the freedom of the open road. I wiil definitely be buying this kit, especially if it is a stock Maverick.

I've been wanting this forever.  My first car was an orange Maverick and I can't wait to build a replica.  Stock works just fine for me.  I can always get duplicates to turn into whatever I want.

Very eager to get this sucker and all its imminent variants.

Built the Johan Comet Pro Stock back in the day, molded in orange, and ruined it.

Very fortunate to get another, sealed Comet Pro Stock in 2018 molded in teal. Built it much nicer this time.

When these kits hit the shelves I will shovel as many as I can into my shopping cart.

I want them all. Mavericks and Comets, stockers and drag racers, and more more more. I grew up with these cars, and nostalgia is one hell of a drug.

I am in the 3-6 kit category for purchase. Those cars are so .. underrated.

@Stef Facts about nostalgia, most of the kits in my stash are nostalgia, and the kits I buy forward will be nostalgia and new to me!

I want to build this one.

I hope the kit has the green stripes. I'll build it with a 6 or a V8. doesn't matter to me. I love the paint and the contrast to the dog dish caps.

Edited to add: If I ever get a 1-1 Maverick it will be painted exactly this way. A real factory Colour Option, so It is a completely legitimate choice, but one that stands out a Mile Away!
