Major Board Maintenance is Coming (now done)

Every few years, we have to move to a new server. This updates the operating system, and various other software components that we can't change on the existing server. 

Sometime in the very near future, the Model Cars Magazine and website will be offline, while the server changeover takes place. 

We estimate this will take a couple of hours. We don't know exactly when it will take place. We've requested an off-hours transfer, but this board is pretty much 24/7. If you get no response from the forum, don't panic. It should be back soon. 

My espresso pot is armed and ready should anything need immediate attention. 

Thank you for your patience. This is a royal pain, but worth it in the long run. 

Update: The migration is scheduled for Tuesday night at 10:30 PM Pacific

We are live on the new server. 

Final sync is done and our site is running on the new server. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

The mail system is having problems. Email alerts may not be working properly. We're working on it.

Unfortunately it seems the new server has not finished my models for me. Other than that, no issues! 😆

I tried to get that included in the migration plan, but they said "no." and wouldn't budge. It seems that some of you have frighteningly large stashes!

I’m noticing in the category directory that some new threads are showing number of replies while number of views remains zero.

It took me this long to figure out my notifications aren't showing up at all.
