Bronzekeg Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 pictured are the stripes I might use on the cab. they are from model truckers. it is still far too cold to even consider painting the cab, 5 degrees as I type this. cold spell is supposed to last a few days maybe then I can do some spray painting. 2
Bronzekeg Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 the seats have been mounted along with the cab pivots. the interior and cab were mocked up to the chassis while the glue on the pivots dried. next up is painting the under side of the interior and cutting the windshield. trying to time the weather so I can paint the cab. 8
Bronzekeg Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 the windshield has been cut down and the door panels have been painted. I also got the underside of the interior tub painted finishing up that assembly. with any luck I can get paint on the cab in a couple of days. weather permitting of course. 5

Nice stripes those are my favorite of the Kenworth Cabover paint scheme. Thanks for sharing Ken.

Scott Eriksen Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Sweet truck! The shop diorama during your build is a nice touch !
Rockford Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Coming together nicely, this would have taken me years to get this far! Going to look very tidy when it's done.

Bronzekeg Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 I have decided to use the decals that I ordered instead of masking and painting a different scheme. admittedly I wasn't sure at first whether I liked them or not. with the company logos and lettering breaking them up a bit I like the results. currently working on the rest of the cab trim getting it all painted while the temperature is decent. thanks for looking.... 2
BK9300 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Looks great, Ken - the colour of the decals is striking against your cab!
