Monogram GreenHornet

This is and old school back in the day model kit. I've worked on and off on this kit and just decided to get it done as I was just building it right out of the box and no changes except color. I decided to paint it a lighter green and used a few decals from other kits as the Monogram ones were cracked bad. It all went together nice with almost '0' flash, not bad for early 60's tooling.

That model was based on the Geraghty and Crawford "Grasshopper"! It's very close to being a replica.

It looks great in that lighter green , beautifully done Ken !  Most if not all of the early Monogram kits go together just like this one .

That's a good looking model! It can be fun building these old kits once in awhile for their simplicity.

Thanks, they can turn out pretty decent with some detailing as long as they dont start out cartoonish, but then again I'll try to build just about anything.😃

Now that is a really cool and clean build up - the first pic is Wow!

I had one of these kits at one time but never fooled with it. Seeing yours makes me wish I still had it.
