I don't post builds online very often, however I am feeling brave today!

Here is the Ice T that I finished recently. I used Mr Color GX Metallic Ice Silver for the main color.

Happy New Year everyone!

Brian, I love the color choice! It totally makes sense to use such cool colors for an ice themed vehicle. Plus, the Metallic Ice Silver really shows off the body lines on this hot rod. Well done!

I thank each and every one of you for your compliments, they are very much appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I used AK Super Chrome for the first time, on the side tanks and nose cap. Not bad  - but not quite chrome. I will try it again.

I have a few more colors in the GX Metallic range - they do some cool shades for rods or customs. They need thinning a lot but spray well through my airbrush.

I used Rough Gold on the Model A below. I also use the GX100 clear gloss.

Beautiful Ice T perfect color! I had a 80 Dodge pickup about the same color.  Great looking 32 also!

Your Ice T looks great - it really responds to a colour change.  I never could get with the yellow (was it something to do with not eating yellow snow maybe?) and did mine in pearl white with blue fogging. Really liking the Ice Blue.

Cheers

Thanks again everyone. This was a quick build and more of a paint test than a serious build. My intention was to see what the Mr. Color Metallic GX paint looked like, and to try the AK Super Chrome for the first time. It was a lot of fun and turned out way better than I expected! I didn't take it too seriously and maybe that is the secret! Now where did I put that Pie Wagon kit..........

Thanks again for the generous comments.
