The well known amt 1925 Ford Model T Chopped T.

This one has been in and out of the box multiple times but finally a few months ago I brought it to a conclusion. For awhile the body was seeing service as a paint mule when I was kind of frustrated with the fit and finish of the original kit.  Ultimately, if memory serves, the paint on it now is Testors enamel thinned with cheap lacquer thinner.  I stripped chrome off the suspension components which made the parts a bit easier to assemble without the heavy handed rough chrome plating that was on them.  The seats are out of the old parts box and at the moment I can't recall where I sourced the flathead.  Not the cleanest build but I'm reasonably satisfied with the results considering the challenges this kit provides.

I've been mostly lurking here for the past few years enjoying great information and builds posted on this site.  Today I dug out the photography equipment with the idea of posting images of some of my builds and making more of a contribution to this site.  More to come in the not too distant future.

You have a winner there. This is one of the best kits that I have ever built

I found the fit and finish of the kit to be a "challenge"🤪 but ultimately I got to a point where I could call it done.  Thanks for looking and commenting.

Very nice & clean build.  Hope to see more!  Well done.

Thanks Ken!  I've got some more builds on the bench and a few on the shelf that need photographing.

Very well done build. I like the color, the flathead, and the wheels and tires especially.

The wheels and tires were inspired by a hot rod I saw rumbling down the street in North Platte, Nebraska as wife and I were traveling across the country a couple years ago.  Thanks for looking and commenting.

You really nailed the "Early Hot Rod" Vibe!

Looks very Sharp.

Good Show.

Thanks Alan.  I was kind of going for an early 60's don't have a lot of money but better than a rat rod look.

Like that you used an early flathead engine. The paint looks great, and the suspension looks better painted. The full Moon Discs look right on this,

I've done the same thing on a build as well. Sometimes it's the paint, the wheels, it just hits you.

You Nailed the Look, Andrew.
