charger74 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Just finished a restoration on this old kit. I forgot to take a picture before it was stripped. I painted it in factory color peacock turquoise. I tried to do a replica of the car on the last picture. Thanks for looking 14
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Amazing! Your model looks exactly like the real car!
lordairgtar Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Love this car, I'm currently working on a convertible version. It was a glue bomb also with all kinds of glue burns, broken windshield and someone tried to do the custom pick up version. I rebuilt the trunk area and pulled a windsheild from from a Johan Plymouth wagon.
W-409 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Great to see one of these built! Can't remember if I've ever seen one finished, but you did an excellent job with yours. Nice clean work!
karbuildr Posted February 11 Posted February 11 That's a real beauty. Great choice of color, excellent vinyl roof, very nice interior.
espo Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Great looking showroom stock style. Would normally think of the body color and interior color combo until seeing it done. Like the paint color and finish now and the same for the interior.
ncbuckeye67 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 That's an amazing restoration, of a "Holy Grail" kit. Wow!
AMT68 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Super impressive build especially considering it's from a rebuilder. The foil lines running the length of the body look perfect.
tim boyd Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Great to see a '65 Imp model get saved...and very sharp paint work, too. Big congrats...TIM

khier Posted February 14 Posted February 14 These were the days when cars and ladies looked decent and did not have plastic in them. Great model. 1 1
Deathgoblin Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Absolutely beautiful! I wish they'd re-pop this one.
